Privacy Policy

1. Identity of the controller
The NUCLEUS application is developed and distributed by ApisDom (hereinafter, "the Developer").
NUCLEUS is a desktop application that runs locally on the user's device.
2. Privacy approach
NUCLEUS is designed with a local-first approach.
The Developer:
- Does not operate proprietary servers
- Does not collect personal data
- Does not store user information
All main application execution occurs on the user's device.
3. Data the application may access
NUCLEUS may access, only under direct user action:
- Email (Gmail API): reading, organizing and assisted composition
- Calendar (Google Calendar API): reading, creating and managing events
- Local files: organization and analysis according to explicit instructions
- Local notes and settings: stored on the device itself
The Developer does not receive or copy this data.
4. Use of third-party services
NUCLEUS allows integrations under the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model, including:
- Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- AI providers such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic or other compatible providers
Data is transmitted directly from the user's device to the corresponding provider.
The processing of such data is governed by the privacy policies of the chosen provider.
5. Storage and security
Sensitive credentials (OAuth tokens, API keys) are stored exclusively on the user's device using secure operating system mechanisms:
- Windows Credential Manager
- macOS Keychain
- Linux Secret Service
The Developer has no access to these credentials.
6. Data sharing
NUCLEUS does not sell, rent or share personal data.
Data exchange only occurs when the user chooses to interact with external services configured by themselves.
7. Data retention and deletion
Data is stored locally.
The user can delete their information by:
- Uninstalling the application
- Deleting local files
- Revoking access from external services (e.g., Google)
8. User rights
Since the Developer does not process personal data, the control of access, rectification and deletion corresponds entirely to the user on their own device or in the external services used.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. Updated versions will be available in the product listing and in the application.
